The heads of state noted the expansion of humanitarian cooperation.

On October 14, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin held talks and discussed cooperation between the two regions in various fields, the presidential press service reports.
According to the information, the parties considered issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance in the context of practical implementation of high-level agreements.
Support for the growth dynamics of key indicators of trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as support for cooperation projects at the regional level of the two countries, was especially noted. The leaders of the two countries also noted the expanding humanitarian cooperation, primarily in the fields of culture, art, and education, including the training of engineering personnel.
Earlier, it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin had contacted each other and discussed pressing issues on the agenda. The head of state congratulated the Russian leader on his birthday.
