Citizens of Uzbekistan will be able to operate motor vehicles on the territory of Russia with their Uzbek national driver’s licenses
A Russian driver’s license will be mandatory only for individuals whose professional activities involve driving.

Uzbekistanis will be able to drive cars on the territory of Russia with national passports, the press service of the country’s Embassy in the Russian Federation reports.
The agency reported that in accordance with the amendments made to the country’s legislation, it is possible to operate transport on the territory of Russia according to the current national rights of Uzbekistan.
At the same time, if a citizen intends to use transport for professional activities, such as freight or passenger transportation, they will need to obtain a Russian driver’s license. In this case, foreign drivers will have to go through the established procedure.
It’s worth noting that according to statistics, the largest number of accidents in Russia over nine months was recorded involving Uzbek citizens. From January to September, Uzbek citizens were involved in 827 traffic accidents, which is 18% less than in the same period of 2024. Kazakhstan citizens closes the anti-rating in the number of accidents — 128 accidents, a 21% decrease compared to January-September 2024.
Earlier, it was reported that Muslims in Russia were banned from engaging in courier delivery of non-halal goods. The Muslim Board explained that responsibility will only arise when one acts consciously.
