A daily train service will start operating between Almaty and Tashkent

Authorities plan to launch a high-comfort train on this route.

Starting December, a high-comfort train will begin operating between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the press service of “Kazakhstan Railways” reports.

According to the information, the new Talgo train will begin operating from December 14th on the Almaty—Tashkent route. It is planned that the daily service will allow the transportation of more than 400 passengers per day, as well as ensure the stability of traffic and the possibility of flexible travel planning.

Also, the introduction of such a communication should strengthen transport connectivity between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, promote the development of tourist flow, and strengthen cultural and business ties between the two countries. It is noted that Talgo trains with a higher level of comfort will be used on the new route.

Earlier, it was reported that the price of a high-speed train ticket from Tashkent to Khujand had increased in the country. “Uztemiryulyulovchi” has published new price tags for adults and children.
