Uzbekistanis will be promoted the importance of the marriage contract

Uzbekistan will begin promoting the importance of concluding a prenuptial agreement among young people, the presidential press service reports.

The country’s leader said that since the beginning of 2025, about 32 thousand families have divorced, and 16 thousand parents are evading alimony payments. It was also noted that in some cases, parents leave families and children with debt on loans. In addition, the head of state drew the attention of the authorities to marriages between close relatives, as well as early marriages, and emphasized that such situations should cause concern at all levels of government and society as a whole.

In this regard, the president emphasized the importance of promoting the benefits of concluding a marriage contract to prevent cases of difficult material situation of spouses, especially children. The country’s leader also reminded of the importance of holding special events for young people and explaining that creating a family is a great responsibility not only for oneself but also for one’s partner and children.

Earlier, it was reported that families in Tashkent had been invented to save families from divorce through psychophysiology. Rapid divorce is only possible after violence against one’s wife or spouse.
