Uzbekistanis warned of impending dust storm

On October 13, the Hydrometeorological Center warned Uzbekistanis about an impending dust storm.

According to the department, in the afternoon in Karakalpakstan, as well as in Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi regions, wind gusts up to 13-18 m/s are expected in some areas. Dust storms are possible. Citizens were asked to take precautions. It is recommended to wear long outerwear in the form of a cloak, coat, or jacket.

We ask residents and guests of these regions to take precautions. It is recommended to reduce exposure to the open air and wear masks when leaving the premises, — the message says.
