Uzbekistan has declared a month of combating poachers
Citizens were urged to report cases of violation of laws.

November has been declared the “Month of Combating Poaching” in Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.
According to the information, during this period, specialists, together with relevant organizations, will conduct raids to identify and suppress the illegal use of flora and fauna, including illegal fishing, in all protected natural areas, as well as in the desert and mountainous regions of the country and natural reservoirs.
It is noted that for this purpose, operational groups have been formed in each region. Also, specialists conduct explanatory and preventive work on compliance with the rules for using objects of the animal and plant world, hunting and fishing. Residents and guests of the country were reminded that if they witness cases of poaching, they should contact the Ministry of Ecology at the following numbers: (71) 207-11-07, (71) 207-11-08, short numbers 1157, 1207 or via @ecogovuz_bot.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan wants to hand out weapons and electroshockers to environmentalists. The inspectors want to equip the vehicle with special light and sound signals.
