The Ministry of Health proposed to allow not wearing the belt in some cases — list
The specialists compiled a list of 18 items.

In Uzbekistan, it is planned to allow passengers of vehicles not to fasten safety belts if they have a number of diseases, according to a draft document published by the Ministry of Health.
According to the information, authorities plan to allow passengers not to fasten their belts if they have a number of illnesses. In this case, for confirmation, passengers will need to have a certificate, which will be issued through the “Electronic Healthcare” system with a QR code. The certificate will be valid for six months.
Specifically, the list of diseases included the following:
- fracture of the clavicle and sternum;
- fracture of the shoulder girdle;
- rib fracture;
- compression fracture of the spine;
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (stage IV);
- bronchial asthma (stage IV);
- interstitial lung lesions;
- removal of part or all of the lung (left or right);
- chronic heart failure of stage III and stage of decompensation;
- obesity of the III degree (BMI ≥ 40);
- short stature (nanism) — below 150 cm;
- neurological diseases that limit the movement of the arm or shoulder;
- severe forms of allergic or dermatological diseases in the chest area (eczema, psoriasis);
- the presence of prostheses or implants in the chest or shoulder area;
- open surgeries on the chest or abdominal cavity;
- presence of a stoma (artificial outlet);
- large neoplasms (tumors) of the chest;
- pregnancy.
It is noted that the discussion of the draft will last until November 14.
Earlier, it was reported that tens of thousands of drivers were fined for traffic violations. The Road Safety Department stated that the number of accidents has decreased since the system was implemented.
