Students will be able to return a portion of their rent online

In Uzbekistan, students of higher education institutions will be able to apply for a refund of part of the monthly rent online, according to the my.gov.uz portal.

According to the information, students will be able to apply through the Single Portal, whereas previously, applicants had to apply for this service to the deputy dean, the youth affairs department of the faculty where they are studying, or to the university’s department coordinating student housing work. The innovation will take effect from November 1, 2025.

In addition, starting January 1, 2026, state services related to the educational process in secondary specialized, vocational, and higher education institutions in the country will also be provided through the Single Portal.

Earlier, it was reported that additional admissions for master’s programs had opened in Uzbekistan. The amount of the contract for students will be determined by the universities themselves, based on the necessary expenses.
