New road and overpass built in Jizzakh region
The new roads significantly facilitate the movement of vehicles, including ambulances, firefighters, and operational services.
In Jizzakh region, a 4 km highway and an overpass were built for 290 billion soums. The project was presented to the president.
According to the information, the road was built on the southern outskirts of Jizzakh. A new 4 km highway and a 700-meter overpass will connect the regional center with the M-39 highway. It will be an alternative to the old 25-kilometer bypass road.
The construction of the new road cost almost 290 billion soums. Its capacity is 14 thousand vehicles per day. The overpass is built from metal structures using modern technologies and can last up to 100 years — twice as long as reinforced concrete structures.
The implementation of the project solved the problem of stopping cars, including emergency services, to allow trains to pass.
Earlier, it was reported that a new toll road will appear in the Andijan region. They want to implement the project with the support of Chinese partners.
