New Angren TPP pollutes the sky over Tashkent region

The regional Department of Ecology reports that air pollution from the Novo-Angren Thermal Power Plant has been detected in the Tashkent region.
It was found that, during station operations, pollutants are generated and released into the atmosphere. The existing dust and gas cleaning equipment at the facility does not sufficiently purify the air. The specialists calculated the compensation and issued instructions to address the shortcomings. The amount of compensation has not been specified.
To prevent the release of pollutants into the atmosphere and reduce their negative impact on the lives of the population, a “roadmap” has been developed, — the report says.
Recall that the president instructed to address the negative impact of greenhouses on the air. Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that greenhouses are a matter of food and economic security.
