Ecologists have begun investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a brown bear in the Tashkent region
The specialists sent the animal's body for examination, after which a legal assessment of the situation will be given.
Information about the killing of a brown bear in the mountains of the Tashkent region has spread on social networks. The press service of the regional Department of Ecology commented on this situation.
The incident occurred on the territory of the Chuloqmergan section of the Korangi-Togay forestry enterprise in the Bostanlyk district. Specialists, together with employees of the Burchmulla State Farm, studied the scene of the incident. It turned out that one of the representatives of the Tian Shan brown bears had indeed perished in the forest area.
According to preliminary data, the animal’s death may have been caused by falling from a rock approximately 70-80 meters high. Before the completion of the examination, the bear’s body was placed in the Burchmulla State Farm. It is noted that after receiving the analysis results, specialists will give a legal assessment of the situation.
Earlier, it was reported that a bear was eaten in the Tashkent region. The poachers threw the skin of the Red Book animal at the crime scene.
