In 2025, more than 14 million calls were received by the ambulance service in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.

According to the information, more than 10 thousand calls were urgent, another 3.8 million were related to chronic diseases, and 100.5 thousand were related to childbirth. It is noted that the largest number of calls came from Tashkent – 1.5 million, followed by Andijan and Surkhandarya regions – 1.3 million calls each. The lowest number of calls in a year came from the Jizzakh region – 562 calls.

Next came Khorezm and Bukhara regions with indicators of 688 thousand and 678 thousand, respectively. The department noted that over the past 8 years, the number of ambulance units has increased from 818 to 1,680 units, and the number of ambulance teams has increased from 1,648 to 2,865 units. In addition, thanks to the use of an automated control system, the arrival time was reduced to 10-15 minutes.

Earlier, it was reported that South Korea would allocate a large grant to Uzbekistan to purchase 100 ambulances. The acquisition of modern vehicles worth seven billion dollars is planned for the first half of 2026.
