In Uzbekistan, rehabilitation centers will be able to provide asylum to victims of violence for six months
Also, the center's employees will be able to assist victims in processing alimony or necessary social benefits.

In Uzbekistan, rehabilitation centers will assist victims of moral pressure and violence without an official statement, according to the press service of the Social Protection Agency.
According to the information, now the centers will provide asylum and deep rehabilitation for up to 6 months in accordance with the contract for the provision of social services without filing an application. The department explained that from October 1, 2024, in the Bukhara region, there are 12 primary care rooms for women and their minor children, where they can stay for up to three days to restore their physical and mental state.
Now this period has been extended to 6 months, as such support is the first step in protecting victims after the incident. Victims can contact the 1146 hotline, the “Inson” centers, or the internal affairs bodies at 102 to receive the necessary assistance and advice promptly.
In addition, employees of such centers can assist victims in processing alimony, social benefits, and exercising other rights guaranteed by law, which also contributes to the safe adaptation of citizens to society.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan discussed strengthening protection against violence. At the conference in Tashkent, new laws, a comprehensive support system, and stricter penalties were introduced.
