In Uzbekistan, it will be possible to formalize a lease agreement for recreation in a simplified manner through the Soliq application, according to the presidential decree on organizing the activities of the Committee on Tourism and Accelerated Development of the Tourism Sector.
According to the information, this innovation will be part of the measures to digitalize the structure. In particular, now it will be possible to rent summer cottages for recreation online. For this, it will be sufficient to use the Soliq application, where you can only indicate one person — the tenant and the total number of vacationers in the territory.
It is noted that tourist fees will be collected from vacationers upon official registration. The procedure will take effect from July 1, 2026, by which time the National Tourist Platform and a mobile application will also be launched, through which you can purchase tickets for airplanes, trains, intercity buses, create tourist routes, and purchase tickets to museums.
Earlier, it was reported that outlet centers with national architecture would be built around Uzbekistan’s tourist attractive cities. The project is planned to be implemented in two stages: first around Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, and later around the remaining regions.
