In Uzbekistan, additional admission is being organized for certain categories of applicants

Uzbekistan announced additional admission for 2025/2026 university applicants who scored 56.7 points or higher but were not recommended for admission.

According to the information, applicants will be given the opportunity to enter on the basis of a differentiated contract with payment for tuition based on the results of the entrance exams. The measure will affect all those who scored 56.7 points or higher during the exams but were not recommended for admission, including those who did not choose their university or bachelor’s degree program during the second stage of registration.

It is noted that additional admission to vacant bachelor’s degree places will be held from September 25 to October 3. During these days, applicants will need to register on the my.uzbmb.uz website, after which their candidates will be recommended for enrollment in the basic contract fee strictly according to their scores.

In addition, during the registration process, the system will provide the applicant with the opportunity to choose a bachelor’s degree program that corresponds to the combination of subjects. The protocols based on the results of the competition will be published by October 8, 2025, and sent to the relevant universities for the registration of applications.

Data on which bachelor’s degree programs remain vacant will also be published on the official website of the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications. It is planned that such a measure will expand the opportunities for applicants to enter higher educational institutions and increase the coverage of young people with higher education.

Earlier, it was reported that nearly half of the applicants in Uzbekistan did not achieve the minimum entrance score. The students in the Andijan region exhibited the poorest result.
