On the eve of the New Year, the press service of the Ministry of Justice issued a warning about the ban on the use of pyrotechnics.

Even a simple fireworks display or bombing can be classified as illegal trade in pyrotechnic devices, as defined in Article 181-1 of the Administrative Code. Everything falls under circulation: both production and sales, as well as transportation and storage.

The article provides for a fine of 15 to 30 BCV or 6.180 million to 12.360 million soums, with confiscation of products.

Illegal sale or import of pyrotechnic products entails a fine of up to 50 BCV or 20,600 million soums, including confiscation of goods.

Earlier, deputies approved another ban on pyrotechnics: Uzbeks will be left only Bengali lights and fireworks for cake, the rest can only be used by state executors.

At the end of December, a young man from Tashkent was amputated after a fireworks explosion.
