Uzbekistan plans to ensure environmental balance, develop “green” energy, and rationally use water resources, the presidential press service reports.

A $100 million credit line will be opened for large enterprises. The money will be spent on the installation of filters, treatment facilities, and monitoring stations for harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

In Tashkent and Tashkent region, there are about 2 thousand greenhouses heated by coal and gas. From now on, coal-fired boiler houses without filters will be abandoned. They will be moved outside the capital, and heating will be organized through centralized boiler houses. For these purposes, agricultural clusters with an area of at least 200 hectares will be created. Greenhouses within them will receive separate subsidies.

Recall that the president declared a state of emergency in the fight against corruption. The activities of a representative of the Accounts Chamber will also be established.
