Drug addicts will begin to be treated forcibly
For this, a court decision will be needed.

On September 23, at a session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the deputies reviewed in the second reading a draft law designed to create a safe environment and prevent offenses.
The draft law defines the measures of responsibility for persons who repeatedly commit offenses. In addition, the procedure for compulsory treatment of drug addicts is being established. Thus, a citizen who has once been brought to administrative responsibility and suffers from addiction can be sent for treatment by court decision.
The draft law has been finalized for the second reading, taking into account the proposals of the factions and deputies. The Ministry of Health clarified the procedure for establishing inter-district commissions for narcological examinations in remote areas.
The norms envisaged in the draft law will serve to prevent offenses, crime prevention, stabilize the criminogenic situation in mahallas, and more effectively protect the life and health of citizens. The draft law was adopted by the deputies and sent to the Senate.
Recall that in Uzbekistan, domestic abusers want to be deprived of the right to acquire weapons. The deputies put forward proposals to prevent crimes in mahallas.
