Chinese electric buses began to be supplied to Uzbekistan
The first hundred vehicles have already been delivered to the country, and another 100 buses are planned to be sent by the end of September.

A batch of 100 buses has been delivered to Uzbekistan as part of the implementation of “green projects” with China, the press service of the Ministry of Transport reports.
According to the information, the Chinese company YUTONG BUS Co won the best offers competition for the development of public transport in Tashkent, in connection with which the parties agreed to purchase 200 electric buses and charging equipment for them by 2025.
According to the agreement, the first 100 electric buses were successfully delivered from Khorgos to Uzbekistan through Kazakhstan. By the end of September, specialists plan to bring the remaining 100 electric buses to the country. It is noted that the parties are implementing the project within the framework of climate change adaptation goals, achieving carbon neutrality, and implementing “green projects” in the direction of developing public transport in Tashkent.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan was considering the possibility of purchasing hundreds of Chinese electric buses. The parties also discussed projects for toll roads.
