Some residents of Tashkent will be disconnected from hot water for a day

The outages are related to preventive work on the eve of the winter season.

From September 16 to 17, hot water supply will be suspended in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent, Veolia Energy reports.

According to the information, the disconnection of hot water is related to planned preventive maintenance to ensure the stable and reliable operation of the system during the winter period. Due to this, from 10:00 PM on September 16th to 6:00 AM on September 17th, the following addresses will be closed:

  • Uchtepa district: 13, 14, 15, 21, and 23rd blocks.

Consumers were apologized for the inconvenience caused and asked to be understanding, as these works are necessary to prepare the heat supply system for the upcoming winter season.

Earlier, it was reported that tariffs for heating and hot water could be raised again in Tashkent. Veolia Energy CEO stated that if tariffs are not increased annually, prices will have to be increased by 40-50% in the future.
