Residents of two districts in Tashkent may be left without electricity overnight due to repair work

On November 13, several mahallas in the Mirzo-Ulugbek and Yunusobod districts of Tashkent will be disconnected from electricity, the press service of the REN reports.

Due to repair work at the Botany substation (110/35/6 kV) under the modernization program, replacement of outdated equipment, and redistribution of the load, the power supply will be temporarily disconnected at the following addresses:

  • Mirzo-Ulugbek district: from 00:00 to 03:00 in Katta Darkhon, Akkurgan, Mustakillik, Hamid Olimjon, M. Ismoiliy and Asaka mahallas;
  • Yunusabad district: from 00:00 to 03:00 in Otchopar-1, Otchopar-2, Bodomzor, Bozsu, Obod, Posira, Mingchinor, Bogibuston, Sheikh Shivli, Mirzo Ulugbek, Khiyobontepa and Firdavsi neighborhoods.

Consumers were warned that the work at the sites may be completed earlier than scheduled, and they apologized for the inconvenience caused.

As a reminder, thousands of Tashkent residents may be left without electricity due to debts for garbage. Subscribers were given five days after receiving an SMS about their debt, after which their access to electricity payments was restricted.
