In the Tashkent Zoo, a man threw stones at a white tiger’s enclosure

The press service of the organization reminded that such actions are a gross violation of the rules.

In Tashkent, a group of visitors, including children, threw stones at a white tiger, the press service of the Tashkent Zoo reports.

The organization’s press service stated that the “entertainment” was initiated by a man. The footage shows him taking something from a teenager, then approaching the grate, waving it, and throwing it inside. Specialists noted that the animal, fortunately, was not harmed by the citizen’s actions.

The zoo staff also reminded that such actions are a gross violation of the rules, as well as dangerous for both the animals themselves and humans. Specialists noted that all violators will be immediately removed from the zoo territory and urged witnesses to such incidents to immediately report this to law enforcement.

Earlier, it was reported that law enforcement officers had fined dozens of Uzbek citizens for cruelty to animals. Some citizens were also sentenced to administrative detention.
