In the Tashkent region, law enforcement officers suspended the operation of another 10 greenhouses due to environmental violations, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
According to the information, specialists conducted a raid on greenhouses located in the Tashkent district. In particular, the working group conducted a raid on 32 greenhouses in the Chigatoy, Kensoy, Kirarik, Kuksaroy and Shamsiobod neighborhoods. During inspections, specialists discovered that 10 greenhouses heated by coal did not have air purification filtering devices.
In addition, in three greenhouses, the facts of waste burning were revealed. As a result, regional environmental departments drew up acts on all violations and decided to suspend the activities of 10 greenhouses. The specialists provided the necessary explanations regarding the requirements for the installation of filter devices when burning coal and the disposal of waste in the prescribed manner.
Earlier, it was reported that a “waste processing” workshop near Tashkent was burning garbage and plastic. A nearby blacksmith’s workshop also disposed of the garbage in this way.
