It turned out that the victim was the attacker’s cohabiting partner.

On November 13, a video circulated on social media showing a man with a hunting rifle beating a shopkeeper. The Department of Internal Affairs commented on the incident.
It was revealed that the attack occurred on October 22 in the Tashkent region. The 33-year-old man, who lives in the Kuksaroy neighborhood, had been a member of the hunters’ association since 2021. He came to a 35-year-old woman with a gun at the store where she works. According to the department, the victim was the attacker’s accomplice.
Due to the conflict, he threatened the woman and beat her. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 109, Part 2 (Intentional infliction of minor bodily harm). The investigation has begun. His issued hunting license was revoked, and the TOZ-34 rifle was confiscated.
The appointed forensic medical examination for bodily injuries revealed that the woman sustained minor injuries that led to a brief deterioration in her health. Currently, the case is under the full control of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, — the report says.
Earlier, it was reported that a man in Tashkent was pursuing and beating his ex-wife. At the same time, law enforcement officers are not extending the victim’s protection order or taking control of the case even after two incidents of assault.
