In Tashkent region, a truck crashed into a gas pipeline

Hundreds of residents were left without supplies.

In the Tashkent region, due to a truck colliding with a gas pipeline, some local residents were temporarily left without gas, the press service of “Hududgaztaminot” reports.

According to the information, the incident occurred in the Bekabad district. As a result of the accident at the “Yangiovul” gas field, gas leakage occurred. It is noted that a truck crashed into a medium-pressure gas pipeline, causing the gas supply to 600 residents and 5 wholesale consumers in the district to be temporarily suspended.

The department reported that specialists from the district gas supply department are currently carrying out repairs. After the completion of the repair work, it is planned to resume gas supply, about which consumers will be warned in advance.

Earlier, it was reported that a company in a multi-story building in Samarkand was stealing natural gas. According to preliminary estimates, the organization caused 3.5 billion soums in damages.
