In Tashkent region, a man illegally caught goldfinches

Employees of the Department of Ecology released the birds into the wild, and the case materials were sent to court.

Employees of the Tashkent Regional Department of Ecology detained a citizen who illegally caught goldfinches, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology reports.

The incident occurred during a raid in the mountainous area of the Qiziltosh settlement in Parkent district. It was revealed that the citizen illegally caught 8 black-headed goldfinches using nets.

An administrative report was filed against the offender under part 4 of Article 90 (Violation of the rules of hunting and fishing, as well as the rules for carrying out other types of use of the animal world). The guilty party is threatened with a fine of 70 to 100 BCV with confiscation of the instruments and objects of the offense or with deprivation of the right to hunt for up to 3 years with confiscation.

The collected materials have been sent to the Parkent District Criminal Court for a legal decision, — the statement said.

Recall that Uzbekistan has declared a month of combating poachers. Citizens were urged to report cases of violation of laws.
