In Tashkent, a girl was punished for a Telegram channel with paid 18+ content
The defendant's phone, which was used for filming and distributing the video, was also confiscated.
In Tashkent, a young woman who organized a private Telegram group with paid adult content was sentenced, according to the court’s decision.
According to the information, a 26-year-old woman from the Gijduvan district of Bukhara region worked as a realtor in the capital, but upon seeing pornographic groups on social networks, decided to create similar ones. Thus, the girl became the founder of a closed group called Vip Group.
There, she posted relevant videos, including with her participation, and also posted advertisements in other chats, offering to join for a certain fee. The expert commission, having studied all the materials, came to the conclusion that they belong to the category of pornographic products.
The Chilanzar District Criminal Court found the girl guilty under Article 189 (Production, import, distribution, advertising, demonstration of pornographic products) and imposed a fine of 100 BRV (41.2 million soums), in addition, law enforcement officers confiscated and destroyed the girl’s phone, which was used for filming and distributing videos.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan wants to strengthen punishment for sexual violence and pornography with the image of children. The authorities also plan to regulate the procedure for interrogating minors to reduce their psychological burden.
