In Surkhandarya region, customs officers discovered pregabalin substance in a protein package sent from Korea, reports the press service of the Tashkent-AERO customs complex.
During an operational event in the city of Denov, Surkhandarya region, a 30-year-old citizen was detained while receiving a package sent to him from Korea. It turned out that 1200 capsules of a potent substance — pregabalin — were in the shipment, which was declared in the documents as sports food.
Currently, pre-investigation checks are ongoing on this fact, — the report says.
As a reminder, an attempt to smuggle drugs from Kyrgyzstan was stopped in Tashkent. Citizens were caught smuggling substances from Andijan to the capital.
