In Kashkadarya, a man stole a car from a teahouse parking lot

The car owner decided to leave the vehicle open with the keys inside.

In Kashkadarya region, an unknown citizen drove a car from a teahouse parking lot, the regional Department of Internal Affairs press service reports.

The incident occurred at night when the driver came to the teahouse and left the Nexia-2 car unlocked in the parking lot. Additionally, the man left the car key in the ignition lock. After some time, the citizen returned and saw that the car was not there. He immediately contacted law enforcement.

Police officers arrived at the scene, and an operation began to search for the kidnapper. The car was found on the same day. A criminal case has been initiated against the perpetrator under Article 267, Part 1 (Theft of a vehicle). He faces up to 10 years in prison. An investigation has begun.

Recall that in Termez, a teenager stole a car to sell it and cover his debts. The guy took advantage of the driver getting out of the car into the store.
