Air quality in Andijan has deteriorated to hazardous levels
Uzhydromet urged residents to limit time outdoors and wear masks.

On November 11, according to the automatic monitoring station in Andijan region, air quality deteriorated significantly, the press service of Uzhydromet reports.
At 10:00 AM, the concentration of small PM10 particles in the atmosphere of Andijan was 502 μg/m³, which is 1.0 times higher than the permissible hourly norm. The concentration of fine dispersed particles PM2.5 was 314 μg/m³, which is 8.9 times higher than the permissible hourly norm.
Residents and guests of Andijan are advised to observe safety measures and wear masks when going outside, — the department said.
Recall that on November 11, the air quality in Tashkent also dropped to very harmful levels. The concentration of PM2.5 particles exceeded the WHO’s recommended limit by 26 times.
