Hundreds of residents were left without gas supply.

In the Tashkent region, more than two thousand residents were left without gas due to an accident, the press service of “Hududgaztaminot” reports.
According to the information, the incident occurred in the Parkent district. After a truck collided with a pressure gas pipeline, the natural gas supply to 2,415 residents and 56 wholesale consumers in the Yoshlik, Markaziy, Guliston, and Oq tepa neighborhoods was temporarily suspended.
Currently, an emergency team from the district gas supply department is working at the scene. Residents were asked to apologize for the inconvenience caused and were assured that the gas supply would be restored after the repair work is completed.
As a reminder, Uzbekistan will increase product exports by ensuring uninterrupted gas supply to greenhouses. Also, the authorities plan to set the social tax rate at 1% by the end of 2028.
