A Mudflow Occurred in the Mountainous Areas of Jizzakh Region
Due to heavy rains, water overflowed the riverbanks, but no casualties were reported.

On June 12, due to heavy rains in the mountainous and foothill areas of Jizzakh region, a mudflow swept down the riverbed, the Uzhydromet press service reported.
The incident occurred at 14:10 due to heavy rains in the mountains and foothills above the village of Segisari, Navbakhor district. A mudflow with a volume of about 3–4 m³/s moved down the riverbed, carrying stones and gravel onto the road. No casualties were reported.
Meteorologists had earlier warned of rain in some mountainous areas, with possible thunderstorms, mudflows, and floods. Winds could reach up to 17 m/s.
It was also reported that Uzbekistan experienced an extremely warm and dry May, with temperature records broken in some regions.
