Transport will be divided into three categories depending on the ecological class.

The Government of Uzbekistan approved the procedure for issuing environmental stickers for vehicles. According to the Ministry of Justice, the car’s environmental category will be determined based on its environmental class established by the manufacturer.
Gasoline and gas-powered vehicles:
- “Euro-2” class and higher – “clean” category;
- “Euro-0” and “Euro-1” classes – “middle” category.
Diesel-powered car:
- “Euro-4” and higher – “clean” category;
- “Euro-3” – “middle” category;
- “Euro-0,” “Euro-1,” “Euro-2” – “harmful” category.
The “clean” category also includes hybrids, alternative fuel vehicles, and cars under three years old.
When registering and re-registering vehicles, environmental stickers of three colors will be issued – green (clean), yellow (moderate), red (harmful).
You can also get an eco-sticker independently by submitting an application through the DPS website or the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services.
Stickers will be valid indefinitely.
