Due to unfavorable weather conditions at some airports in Uzbekistan, several flights were redirected to alternative airfields, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.

Thus, the following departed for backup airports:

  • Uzbekistan Airways HY18 flights on the Nukus – Tashkent route and HY58 flights on the Urgench – Tashkent route were redirected to a reserve airfield in Samarkand;
  • The crew of flight HY9834 on the Krasnodar – Namangan route also decided to take a backup flight to Samarkand;
  • Qanot Sharq airline flight QNT822 on the Seul – Tashkent route was redirected to the reserve airfield in Navoi;
  • Uzbekistan Airways flight HY766 on the Almaty – Tashkent route was redirected to the reserve airfield in Navoi;
  • Centrum Air flight C6306 on the Istanbul – Tashkent route was redirected to a backup airport in Samarkand;
  • Uzbekistan Airways flight HY232 on the Frankfurt – Tashkent route has been redirected to a backup airport in Urgench;
  • Ural Airlines flight U62461 on the Moscow – Tashkent route was redirected to Dushanbe as a backup flight;
  • Centrum Air flight C6092 from Urgench to Tashkent has returned and departed at the airport;
  • FlyOne flight 7Q3302 on the Jeddah – Tashkent route was redirected to a replacement flight in Samarkand;
  • Uzbekistan Airways flight HY756 on the Baku – Tashkent route was redirected to the reserve airport in Navoi;
  • Azal Airlines flight J2531 on the Baku – Tashkent route was redirected to a reserve airfield in Astana;
  • Ural Airlines flight U62719 on the Irkutsk – Tashkent route was redirected to a replacement flight in Navoi;
  • Centrum Air flight C63032 on the Medina – Tashkent route was redirected to a replacement flight in Samarkand;
  • Air Airabia flight G9270 on the Sharjah – Tashkent route was redirected to Almaty as a backup flight;
  • Pobeda Airlines flight PBD741 on the Moscow – Tashkent route was redirected to a replacement flight in Navoi;
  • Aeroflot airline flight SU1870 on the Moscow – Tashkent route was redirected to a replacement flight in Navoi;
  • FlyOne flight 9S4308 on the Jeddah – Tashkent route was redirected to Dushanbe as a backup flight;
  • FlyDubai flight FZ1941 on the Dubai – Tashkent route was redirected to Almaty as an alternate flight;
  • Uzbekistan Airways flights HY650 on the Kazan – Tashkent route and HY9628 on the Moscow – Fergana route were redirected to Qarshi as alternate flights;
  • Uzbekistan Airways flight HY9672 on the Novgorod – Tashkent route was redirected to Urgench as a backup flight;
  • Ural Airlines flight UT805 on the Moscow – Tashkent route was redirected to Dushanbe as a backup flight;
  • Turkish Airlines flight TK370 on the Istanbul – Tashkent route was redirected to Almaty as a backup flight;
  • Centrum Air flight C63328 on the Jeddah – Termez route was redirected to the reserve airfield in Qarshi;
  • FlyOne Airlines flight 7Q6062 from Jeddah to Tashkent has been redirected to Andijan’s alternate airport.

For more detailed information about the status of flights, citizens were asked to contact airline representatives. It is also reported that currently, restrictions on the reception and departure of aircraft at the Tashkent airport have been lifted. The airport is operating normally.

As a reminder, several aircraft in Uzbekistan were diverted to alternate airfields due to fog. Bad weather conditions are observed at the airports of Bukhara and Termez.
