Uzbekistan has entered the list of countries with the lowest cost of living, according to the Numbeo analytical platform.
According to the information, the country took 138th place out of 155: the overall price level in Uzbekistan was 27.3 points. The housing rental index was 12.2, the cost of living index including rental housing — 20.6, the food price index — 30.1, the restaurant and cafe price index — 23, and the population purchasing power index — 47.8.
Thus, the country has surpassed almost all CA countries. Kyrgyzstan is ranked 140th. Kazakhstan (128 places) and Tajikistan (136 places) ranked higher. The top positions in the ranking were taken by the Bermuda, Cayman, and Virgin Islands, followed by Pakistan, India, and Libya. New York prices were taken as the basis for comparison.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan had fallen in the mobile internet speed ranking. The country lost five positions at once.
