Uzbekistan and South Korea agreed on a visa for highly qualified specialists
The parties also discussed the possibility of attracting Uzbek citizens to seasonal work in agriculture and fishing.

Uzbekistan and South Korea signed a visa agreement, which allows citizens with high qualifications in certain fields to officially work in key sectors of the country, the press service of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
According to the information, the agreement was signed by representatives of the agency and the Korean province of Gyeongsang-Namdo. The E-7 visa, which was agreed upon by representatives of the two countries, will allow highly qualified Uzbek citizens to access key industrial sectors of the country.
It is noted that special attention will be paid to candidates’ language proficiency during the selection process. The representative of the Korean province noted that the signing of the document with the Migration Agency will open up new opportunities for young professionals.
We appreciate the high level of training of Uzbek youth and will cooperate for their professional growth, — said Park Wansu, Governor of Kwantung Namdo Province.
In addition, the parties discussed the signing of the E-8 visa, which is aimed at attracting foreign workers to seasonal work in agriculture and fishing. During the negotiations, representatives of the two countries agreed to launch projects in this direction, which will allow Uzbekistanis to temporarily work in the Republic of Korea.
Previously, it was reported that South Korea would assist Uzbekistan in training medical professionals according to international standards. The parties agreed to deliver free annual training for 20 specialists from Uzbekistan.
