Uzbekistan and Slovenia discussed exchange programs for young creative professionals

Uzbekistan and Slovenia plan to expand cultural cooperation, within the framework of which the parties intend to organize exchange programs for young representatives of creative professions, reports “Dunyo”.

According to the information, the parties confirmed mutual interest in developing long-term cooperation and implementing specific joint projects aimed at popularizing national cultures and expanding bilateral exchanges.

In particular, the representatives of the two countries discussed the development of educational and exchange programs for young musicians, conductors, composers, and representatives of other creative professions. The organization of master classes and cultural exchanges between specialized educational institutions of the two countries also generated interest.

In addition, the diplomats discussed cinematographic cooperation. Within its framework, the Slovenian side proposed to hold Slovenian Film Days in Tashkent and to organize Uzbek Film Days in Lyublyana in 2026. The parties also considered the prospects for joint production of films with the participation of creative groups of the two countries.

Separately, the representatives of the two states discussed issues of organizing exhibitions on the history and culture of Uzbekistan, conducting tours of Uzbek theater, opera, and ballet groups in Slovenia, as well as expanding concert programs with the participation of the Slovenian and State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan.

It was emphasized that the upcoming visits at various levels will become an important opportunity to deepen cultural dialogue and give additional impetus to bilateral cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.

Earlier, it was reported that more than a thousand Uzbekistanis could go to work in Slovenia. Special language courses are organized for potential candidates.
