Uzbekistan and Jordan discuss cooperation in the field of geology
The parties approved a roadmap and signed a memorandum on cooperation in the field of copper, rare metals, and other minerals.

Uzbekistan and Jordan discussed cooperation in the field of critical mineral resources, as well as conducting geological exploration, the press service of the Ministry of Geology and Mining Industry reports.
According to the information, the delegation from Uzbekistan visited Amman on a working visit, during which the parties discussed the implementation of joint projects, including geological exploration. Specialists from “Navoiyuran” and Jordan Uranium Mining Company studied promising uranium deposits.
Another company, National Arab Mining Company, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Uzbek side in the field of copper, rare metals, and other industrially important minerals. In addition, the parties approved a roadmap for joint work. Following the meeting, the parties formed a working group consisting of representatives of responsible ministries and Jordanian companies. In addition, representatives of the two countries discussed promising uranium and non-ferrous metal deposits.
Earlier, it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev and King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein held talks at the Samarkand Congress Center, during which the parties adopted a Joint Statement on strengthening partnership relations, as well as 15 bilateral documents. The King of Jordan invited the head of state to pay a reciprocal visit to the country.
