US Secretary of State can visit Uzbekistan
The ex-head of the State Depository liked the salaries in the republic during the visit.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio plans to visit Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan in 2026, TASS reports, citing a statement by the head of the State Department with the participation of the heads of the foreign ministries of these states.
The high-ranking official noted that he plans to personally visit all five countries and emphasized that the trip will last at least a week or more. Marco Rubio stated that American businesses are interested in expanding access to the markets of Central Asian countries.
According to the Secretary of State, American authorities had not previously paid sufficient attention to this region, but currently, Donald Trump’s administration is committed to “joint work on a bilateral basis or at the regional level” with these countries. The US leader himself is planning to meet with regional leaders on November 6th in Washington.
It’s worth noting that earlier in 2023, during his visit, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke about Uzbekistan’s development in recent years and noted the increase in salaries in the country. According to him, the United States supports the full implementation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s reforms. Uzbekistan’s achievements in the field of labor rights have shown how effective these reforms are.
Earlier, it was reported that Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with members of the US Congress. The parties agreed on mutual visits of delegations and new economic agreements.
