Trump may receive the Nobel Peace Prize in 2026

The US president's entourage believes the White House leader will have more chances.

In 2026, US President Donald Trump will have more opportunities to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, TASS reports, citing The New York Post.

According to the publication, after returning to the White House, many of the president’s supporters acknowledged his peacekeeping contributions, and some world leaders publicly declared their intention to nominate the US president for the award. However, awarding the prize to the American leader in 2025 would be a surprise.

Some critics claimed that the American president had ordered strikes on Iranian nuclear program targets and had repeatedly claimed claims to Greenland. Nevertheless, the publication believes that in 2026, the US leader will have more chances of receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.

It should be noted that in 2025, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the ex-deputy of the Venezuelan parliament, Maria Corinne Machado, for her tireless work in protecting the democratic rights of the Venezuelan people and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy. Maria Corina Machado, in turn, dedicated the award to the Venezuelan people and Donald Trump.
