The US has suspended the review of immigration applications from 19 countries — list
The republic from Central Asia was included in the list of states.

The US Presidential Administration has stopped reviewing immigration applications from citizens of 19 countries who consider them a threat to national security, as follows from the Citizenship and Immigration Service memorandum.
The list of 19 countries includes Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
The new measure applies to all those who were born in the above-mentioned countries or are their citizens. Applicants must undergo a thorough re-examination procedure, including a potential interview and, if necessary, a re-interview to fully assess all threats to national security.
US authorities have also suspended the review of all asylum applications and deportations, regardless of the foreigner’s citizenship, until a comprehensive investigation is completed. US Immigration and Citizenship Service officers were instructed to conduct a comprehensive re-examination of already approved immigration benefits applications.
Earlier, it was reported that the US would intensify the deportation of illegal individuals after an Afghan attacked military personnel near the White House. Donald Trump said that the authorities will check all Afghan citizens who arrived in the States under Biden.
