In Turkey, a boy from Uzbekistan quarreled with his parents and ran away from home
It turned out that the child had not attended school for a year, as well as had not undergone medical examinations, due to which his health deteriorated.

A 12-year-old compatriot who hadn’t attended school for a year, quarreled with relatives, and ran away from home was brought back to Uzbekistan from Turkey, the Consulate General’s press service reports.
According to the information, the teenager’s mother divorced her Uzbek husband, after which she left the country and moved to Istanbul, where she married a Turkish citizen. Initially, the boy was under the care of his grandmother, but in June 2024, the woman moved her son to Istanbul. However, due to the lack of documents, she was unable to enroll her child in school, for which she did not attend the educational institution for a year.
During a quarrel with his mother and stepfather, the boy ran away from home. Local law enforcement officers identified the child and took him to the Consulate General. The specialists found out that during this time, the boy’s eyesight had deteriorated because he hadn’t undergone a medical examination. Thanks to the assistance of the “Culture of Uzbekistan, Solidarity and Cooperation” society, the boy was helped, and he was also returned to his homeland, where he was able to continue his education.
Earlier, it was reported that women suspected of human trafficking were deported from Turkey to Uzbekistan. Victims of the attack were asked to contact the Consulate General.
