According to the video footage, teenagers attacked the minor, beat him, forced him to kneel and apologize “for his origin”. All of this was accompanied by insults based on nationality.
Currently, the Novosibirsk region police have begun an investigation and are identifying the attackers. The victim’s nationality and citizenship are also being clarified. Diplomats sent a request to law enforcement agencies demanding full information about the incident and the teenager’s identity.
The consulate emphasized that the situation is under special control and called on the media to refrain from publishing unverified information until official data is available.
