A 39-year-old Uzbekistani citizen was detained in Murino on suspicion of attempted sexual assault, “Fontanka” reports.
According to the video footage, the man first tried to kiss the 13-year-old girl, then grabbed her hand and tried to drag her into the forest. The man’s illegal actions were stopped by a passing woman.
On 31 August, the girl’s parents contacted emergency services. The suspect was detained on 2 September. According to preliminary data, the migrant is not registered in the country, works as a bricklayer at a construction site, and resides there. According to the man himself, he wanted to “meet the girl and walk in the forest”.
The press service of the regional Investigative Committee announced that a criminal case has been opened against the minor.
