In India, a baby was born “pregnant” with two twins
The woman conceived triplets, but during pregnancy, one fetus absorbed the two brothers.

In India, doctors pulled out two “parasitic twins” from the abdominal cavity of a one-month-old baby, Times of India reports.
The infant was admitted to Fortis-Gurgaon Hospital on July 27 with a bloated abdomen. According to her family, the child had problems with feeding and was irritable. The initial examination revealed abnormal growth in the baby’s abdominal cavity. Later, the presence of two incorrectly formed fruits in one sack was confirmed.
Experts describe this as an extremely rare case of “fetus in fetus”. This condition occurs in approximately one out of 500,000 live births. The phenomenon is characterized by fetal deformities developing within the host parent. An anomaly occurs in the early stages of pregnancy when one baby clutches another inside its body.
The seized fruit cannot grow and survive. In this case, the woman conceived triplets, of which two fetuses were consumed by one during pregnancy. Less than 300 cases have been recorded worldwide, and only one-tenth of them show multiple fetal parasitic lesions, making the case even more rare.
As a reminder, a baby weighing almost seven kilograms was born in the Tashkent region. According to doctors, the mother and baby are feeling well.
