Which banks will be open on holidays and weekends?
Uzbek citizens will be able to utilise numerous currency exchange and money transfer points.

The Central Bank announced which banks will operate on holidays and weekends in celebration of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence.
Uzbekistan will have three consecutive days off—from August 30th to September 1st. During this period, currency exchange and money transfer points at the following banks will be operational:
- “Ipak Yuli bank”;
- “National bank”
- “Business Development Bank”
- “Agrobank”
- “Hamkorbank”;
- “Trastbank”;
- “Turonbank”;
- “”Sanoatqurilishbank;
- “Xalq banki”;
- “Asakabank”;
- “Infinbank”;
- “Ipoteka bank”;
- “Garant bank”;
- “Mkbank”;
- “Poytaxt bank”;
- Аsia Alliance bank;
- Apex bank;
- Eron Saderot bank;
- “Universalbank”;
- Orient Finans Bank;
- “Tengebank”;
- “Davrbank”;
- “Anorbank”;
- Octobank;
- Hayot bank;
- Aloqa bank.
It is noted that citizens can also carry out currency exchange transactions through 24/7 automated currency exchange ATMs and via commercial banks’ mobile applications at any time, without the need to visit the bank building.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistani people will enjoy long holidays for Independence Day. Some workers will have three days off in a row.
