Uzhydromet shared the weather forecast for the 2025-2026 winter season.
According to the information, December should be slightly warmer than normal. Forecasters expect the average monthly temperature to be 1-1.5 degrees above normal. In the first ten days, the weather will be predominantly warm: at night — 0 to 5 degrees Celsius, during the day — 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. In the second and third decades, the temperature will fluctuate sharply: at night 2-7 to 0-5 degrees Celsius, during the day 12-17 to 2-7 degrees Celsius. Monthly precipitation is expected to be around or below normal.
January will generally be close to normal, slightly colder in some regions. In the first and second ten days, the temperature will fluctuate within a wide range: at night from 3-8° to 3-8°, during the day from 10-15° to 2-3°. In the third ten-day period, anomalous frosts are expected: — in most regions at night 12-17 frosts, — during the day 5-10 frosts, — in the regions of Nukus and Urgench at night it may drop to 20-25 frosts.
Also, forecasters expect February to be close to the long-term norm. Abnormal frosts will persist in the first ten days: 5-10° at night, 3° below zero to 2° during the day. In the second and third decades, the air should warm up significantly: at night from -2° to 7° to 3-8°, and during the day from 0-5° to 10-15°. In the southern regions, daytime temperatures can rise to 15-20 degrees Celsius. Precipitation will be within normal range.
