Uzbekistanis can visit the country’s museums free of charge
But only for a few days.

In Uzbekistan, residents of the country will be able to visit state museums free of charge until September 8 as part of the autumn Museum Week.
Furthermore, in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution, the right to free visits to state museums at other times is granted to:
- children under 18 years of age with parents or guardians — every Tuesday and Friday;
- all citizens — on the first Sunday of each month during Open Day;
- elderly citizens requiring care, disabled individuals, and their accompanying guardians, listed in the special register.
Earlier, reports indicated that almost five million people visited museums in Uzbekistan. Approximately a third of them were foreigners.
