In Uzbekistan, citizens will now be able to register for the pilgrimage online, according to the press service of the Committee for Religious Affairs.

A “Unified portal of Hajj and Umrah” has appeared in the country. The user can register in two ways: through the Single Portal of Interactive Public Services or the website. This portal was created for the following purposes:

  • create conveniences for pilgrims, ensure transparency and eliminate the human factor when forming queues;
  • form a single electronic queue and transition the Hajj application process to an online format;
  • digitize the processes of collecting and processing documents related to the Hajj pilgrimage.

As a reminder, Uzbekistanis are expecting changes in their Hajj pilgrimage in 2026. The innovations will affect obtaining visas.
