In Uzbekistan, 87% of households have abandoned traditional lighting sources and switched to LED systems, the CERR’s press service reports.
According to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, this contributes not only to reducing electricity consumption but also to optimizing family spending and protecting the environment. In a number of regions, this process is developing particularly actively.
In Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Navoi, and Tashkent regions, the share of families using LED lighting exceeds 90%. This clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of measures to improve energy efficiency, support modern technologies, and cultivate a population’s ecological culture.
“It is clear that in the future, this positive experience can serve as a benchmark for other regions of the country, — the Center’s message says.
